A BRAND-NEW, HAND-CRAFTED AC COBRA: A GT ROADSTER COLLECTOR MADE IN ENGLAND

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The dream is finally possible with British manufacturer AC CARS

Meticulously engineered to be exceptional, the new AC Cobra GT Roadster combines cutting-edge materials and manufacturing technologies to produce limited-edition sports cars ordered to customers’ tastes. With a range of options inspired by the brand’s heritage, as well as a unique vehicle creation service, every owner can stamp their personality on their Cobra.

Featuring an extruded aluminum chassis specially designed for the new AC Cobra GT Roadster by partners Icona Design Group and Cecomp Spa in Italy, this two-seater will deliver the performance, handling and sound for which the Cobra is renowned. With a V8 engine developing up to 654bhp (663PS) and 575lb ft (780Nm), and the choice of a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic gearbox in a car weighing less than 1500kg, acceleration will be nothing short of spectacular – with a 0-60mph sprint of around 3.6sec.

The breathtaking new AC Cobra GT Roadster made its world premiere in London. Confirmed buyers and customers were invited to attend the exclusive reveal, marking the sensational return of the legendary sports car.

Hosted at the famous Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, just 25 miles from where the company was founded, the cutting-edge roadster captivated the customers and VIPs present, as the all-new design was unveiled for the first time.

Available in left- or right-hand drive and powered by a powerful 5.0-liter V8 developing up to 663 hp, this unique car features a new extruded aluminum chassis and carbon composite bodywork that offers a remarkable driving experience in a vehicle with a very limited production run.

From the iconic, evocative bodywork to the bespoke interior, the premiere of the new AC Cobra GT Roadster gave customers the chance to discover the styling of the new car, delight in the interior design and meet the team responsible for ensuring that the new sports car continues the heritage of the famous name.

The interior of the AC Cobra GT Roadster has received as much care and devotion as the rest of the design, which is worthy of such a sophisticated and exclusive car. Featuring bespoke detailing and unique hand-finished elements unheard of in the automotive world, it underlines AC Cars’ commitment to its vehicles for the future.

The design and details of the GT Roadster’s upholstery and leather carefully blend advanced, highly resistant fabrics with traditional materials, once again respecting the car’s heritage.

The new roadster is the result of a multi-million euro investment spread over almost four years. Designed to be both beautiful and usable as a sports car, it remains in a class of its own. Only 250 examples of the GT Roadster are expected to be built each year for world markets, the first year of production having already been allocated.

Designed to be fully homologated, available in left- or right-hand drive, and incorporating modern safety features, every aspect, from styling to ergonomics, has been taken into account.

Much larger than the original Cobra AC, the new GT Roadster is the fruit of 50 years of design evolution. Thanks to resolutely modern ergonomics, the car’s interior can accommodate drivers over six feet tall, while the car uses modern transmission and control technologies to validate its grand touring qualities.

The new chassis has a wheelbase of 2,570 mm, 284 mm longer than the AC Cobra Mk. VI, while the car’s overall length has increased by just 110 mm to 4,225 mm. The car’s track has also been optimized to give a wider stance, which, together with the car’s weight distribution and center of gravity, significantly improves handling and agility.

The new AC Cobra GT Roadster is available to order for customers worldwide. Please make an appointment with a member of our team for more information.
