THE NEWMAZDA CX-80

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The CX-80 is one of Mazda’s new flagships, designed to compete with long-established Premium brands on the European market.

Mazda intends to adopt a multi-solution approach to sustainable mobility and remain faithful to its founding principle: always choose the right solution at the right time. To do this, the manufacturer has developed three distinct product ranges: a category of small-sized products, based on its Skyactiv multi-solution scalable architecture with a transversal platform; a category of large products, adopting its Skyactiv multi-solution scalable architecture with a longitudinal platform; and a dedicated EV category, based on the brand’s scalable Skyactiv EV architecture.

After the CX-60, the Mazda CX-80 is the second new model from the brand’s large crossover category to be marketed in Europe. Equipped with three rows of seats, it is intended to be the most spacious model in Mazda’s European range.

Comfortable, versatile and designed in Japan, the new Mazda CX-80 combines an avant-garde design anchored in Japanese aesthetics, exceptional interior modularity, latest generation technology and equipment worthy of the most exclusive SUVs in the segment while offering driving performance emblematic of the brand’s models.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

  • The “ Graceful Toughness ” design concept successfully combines the elegance of a three-row SUV with the imposing architecture of a vehicle with a front engine and rear-wheel drive.
  • The deeply sculpted front end, roof rails and side window surrounds in chrome finish give the vehicle a powerful and dynamic silhouette.
  • Two exclusive exterior colors: Artisan Red and Melting Copper (new)
  • 20-inch gray alloy wheels with machined finish.

INTERIOR DESIGN

  • The vast dashboard is distinguished by continuous lines which cross the side ventilation openings to blend into the door trims, thus accentuating the feeling of space which emanates from the passenger compartment.
  • The extra-wide center console stretches from the front to the rear of the cabin. The rear part of the console integrates USB ports and climate controls for greater passenger comfort.
  • The Takumi finish benefits from white Nappa leather upholstery, maple wood inserts and “suspended” stitching borrowed from the Japanese art of topstitching.
  • The Homura finish inherits a black interior with Nappa leather upholstery and inserts in a very fine Gun Metal metallic finish.
